High Point Market is the largest home furnishings industry trade show.  It occurs in the Spring, in April, and in the Fall, in October.  It has between 70 thousand and 80 thousand attendees from over 100 different countries.  There is approximately 12 million square feet of showspace with over 2000 exhibitors in 180 buildings.  Exhibitors work for months on new releases that will be showcased at either the Spring or the Fall High Point Market.  There are approximately tens of thousands of new product introductions each Market.

The first High Point Market was in 1909 and was called the Southern Furniture Market.  The only time in its history that it wasn’t held was because of World War II.   Market was put on hold starting in 1941 and until the end of the war.  This Spring, because of COVID-19, it was postponed until June–and ultimately, it has been cancelled.

Even though we can’t be there in person, here is a video giving a Sneak Peak of the trends and new products that were to be found at Market.  In addition, High Point Market is providing “Snapshots” of new products.  And, the Style Spotters are sharing their favorite trends and products.

Although there is nothing that will take the place of being at High Point Market, we understand that there are things that are more important.

With that said, we are looking forward to the next High Point Market!
