At SCL, we that believe art is an integral part of a design project. We have a list of art vendors that we love to work with–but we are also always looking for “exciting” new art.
We always want to find “new” art that represents different styles, different art media (paintings, prints, giclee, etc.), presented in different ways (canvas, plexiglass, metal, etc.), and vendors that provide a variety of services (change sizes, frames, mats, etc.). One of the best places to find the “new” art is at High Point Market. The following are some of the “new” vendors that we have recently found:
Charles Harold Company
Charles Harold Company features “contemporary, abstract and modern art images”. CHC offer two options for their artwork. The first option features original artwork from a unique group of artists. The second option features reproductions of CHC artists’ works and can customized for different sizes and frames. In addition, CHC has just introduced wall murals.
SCL Design Project — Basement Renovation
Cobra Art
Cobra Art features pop art, urban art, surrealistic art and more. It displays its photographic art on plexiglass or aluminum. The plexiglass provides a glossy and exclusive look where the aluminum provides a matte finish.
Oliver Gal
Oliver Gal is “a growing art and lifestyle brand”. They features contemporary art, fashion, and pop art. All the artwork is made in the U.S.A. Oliver Gal also features exclusive limited edition canvases.
Leftbank Art
Leftbank Art features a wide range of styles of artwork. They feature “original hand paintings, prints on canvas, plexi, outdoor, glass framed shadow box art and murals”. Leftbank Art offers the option to customize the size of the art and to change frames.
Wildwood Lamps
Wildwood Lamps is introducing oil paintings and prints to their collection. The artwork represents many different styles–from “coastal to contemporary, masculine to glam, transitional, trendy, and classic”.
Over the years, we have worked with many different art vendors. Many of these vendors provide different styles of art, different art media (i.e. paintings, prints, giclee ), and different services (i.e. change sizes, frames, mats). The following is a list of the art vendors that we consider our “classic” vendors–those we go back to year after year:
Art & Frame Source
Art & Frame Source features thousands of proprietary images. They provide the option to change the size of the art, the frame, the mat, format and color. They offer artwork on canvas, under glass, on acrylic and shadow box framing.
Soicher-Marin
Soicher-Marin provides decorative and fine art. The offer artwork in the form of giclee, prints on paper and canvases.
The Natural Light
The Natural Light provides artist enhanced print and original oils. There is the option to change the frame.
Wendover Art
Wendover Art provides a wide range of styles of art. Wendover Art offers the option to change the size, orientation, media (i.e. canvas to print on paper), frame, mat, or to “float” the artwork. We were excited at this past Market to see one of our local artists, Martha Spak, display some of her artwork at Wendover.
